Reached the age of 85 yesterday and now the target is our 60th wedding anniversary next year. Spent the evening with one of our sons at Anfield watching Liverpool thrash Pompey 4-1. Agood day all round. Is there anyone else out there from the first commission when I was Telegraphist, Ldg. Tel.and acting P.O. Tel.? Well remember the Pacific and the islands. I will let you know if the bike is needed, closer to the date. We were thinking of cycling over there on the Friday morning and getting the girls to drop our kit off at the Hotel. If we do, then will probably do it as an additional charity fundraising thing for Help the Heroes or something. I shall be approaching the reunion members for a contribution. It's only 60 miles so 10p a mile would be nice.

they were silver plated and very much to detail

Hi Tony,
Managed to upload my cycling piccy.
Had a 75 mile road ride last Saturday setting off in -2 degrees and getting home at 0 degrees. A tad nippy down under( Hi Kevan).
Andy second from left, forgot his bike for the picture.
We were sponsored by a bike and kayak shop in the Caribbean, hence the colourful shirts. They also came in handy when we fell off as we could see each other in the snow drifts.
